Gingerlily is a summer flower. I remember when I was young mom always bought a bunch of gingerlily home and put in a vase. The flower opened with a very 'beautiful', light, sweet fragrant.... Look at the opened flowers and unopened buds took me to a peaceful mind.
When I was young, I played with a little boy every night, after hard chase and fun, we looked at the butterfly liked flowers, he carefully picked the banana like stamen and ate it, and I followed, maybe we liked banana.
Mother loves gingerlily so much, I love the flower because mom loves it and also because the scent, the color and look of the flower.
Mom told me, she would be most satisfied and happy if I could send her gingerlily. Here in N.A. hardly can buy gingerlily, My husband knows I love gingerlily, when he found some in our nearby neighborhood, he picked some and planted at our backyard. The flower is one of the many memories between mom and I, it is also a connection between her and me,
To remember my mother, I chose GingerLilies as my website's name.
Ten years ago, I started to learn making miniatures flowers and food using air-dried resin clay. About 3 years ago, I was lucky enough to learn Deco clay flower.
Deco clay is an air-dried, light weight soft clay, it is easy to mold and make anything you wish. I sometimes cut flowers from my yards and start molding those beautiful flowers with clay.
The pictures showed on this page are for sale, I also take custom order for wedding, gift.... I also offer classes in San Jose, Cupertino, Palo Alto and Los Altos, California.
